The first phase of our project consists in acquiring the shape of several object available in our lab and surroundings. Raw point-clouds will be the first data available in this dataset.
We started by the Lady of Elch, which has been acquired using photogrametry and a scanner Faro Laser ScanArm. We are trying to borrow another scanner with other specifications to get a third version.
In the studio, we also worked on the acquisition of very small objects using photogrammetry. Taking the pictures for this kind of objects is a very tedious process, however Quentin is doing a great job and we already have the first 3d models coming out.
